We’re Allie and Hailey, two Fox Valley moms creating The Play District for families like ours.
Get to know the founders
We both live in the Fox Valley and care about the families raising kids here. We’re building The Play District because we want more places where children can play and parents can make friends.
Our plans include play for non-walkers through pre-teens, classes where kids can try something new, and space for the grown-ups alongside them. We hope coming here becomes a chance to catch up with a friend or meet someone from the neighborhood.

I’m a wife and mom of two, a boy and a girl with almost a decade between them. The Fox Valley is home to us. I care deeply about children, their education, and how what they learn applies to real life.
Finding activities that work for both of my kids has been a challenge. That age gap helped shape The Play District: a place where families with children at different stages can spend time together.

I’m a wife and mom to a little girl, and I was born and raised in the Fox Valley. I’ve always loved children and the way their curiosity leads them somewhere new.
As a mom, I want a safe, welcoming place where kids can play, explore, and even get messy while parents connect. That’s what inspired me to help create this space, and I’m excited to share it with you.
These words guide the place we’re building.
A baby learning to crawl and a pre-teen looking for something to do should both find play that suits them.
Kids can make friends while their parents get to know each other. Classes and events give families a reason to come together.
We want your family to feel welcome, whether you know people here already or are walking in for the first time.
